On July 18, 2017 the Federal Liberal government announced proposed legislative changes that will have a far reaching tax impact on private companies and their shareholders.
Member firms of DFK Canada are pro-actively seeking changes to these proposals by discussing their impact with clients and contacting local MP’s to advise them of the far reaching impact these rule changes will have on small businesses in Canada.
DFK Canada Welcomes New President
DFK Canada's annual conference marked a changing of the guards ‐ as Andrew Logan took the reins as new President.
The conference, held in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, was Andrew's first official engagement as DFK Canada President after taking over from out‐going President Paul Panabaker.
DFK Raises $113,500 to Support Communities in Fort McMurray
In response to the devastating wildfires which ravaged through the city of Fort McMurray and surrounding areas during early May, the partners and staff of the independent firms of DFK Canada have banded together to raise $113,500 which has been donated to the Red Cross to support local families and communities affected by this tragedy. The federal government and the province of Alberta will match these Red Cross donations. Donations to the Red Cross can be made online through the Red Cross website .
